Create Your Account

Register with your company email. A new organization is created automatically for your team.

Post a Job

Go to Dashboard → Jobs → Create Job. Add the title, description, required skills, and experience level.

Upload Resumes

Upload resumes via Dashboard → Upload Resumes. You can upload multiple files at once and optionally link them to a specific job.

Review AI Results

View ranked candidates under each job. The AI shows match scores, skill breakdowns, and recommendations for each applicant.

How AI Resume Screening Works

When you upload a resume or a candidate applies through the job portal, TalentPulse's AI engine automatically processes it through several stages:

Step 1: Document Parsing

The AI reads the resume file (PDF, DOCX, or TXT) and extracts structured data — personal information, work experience, education history, skills, certifications, and languages. It handles various resume formats and layouts automatically.

Step 2: Skill Extraction

The system identifies and categorizes technical skills, soft skills, tools, and technologies mentioned in the resume. It understands variations and synonyms — for example, 'JS', 'JavaScript', and 'ECMAScript' are recognized as the same skill.

Step 3: Scoring & Analysis

Each candidate is scored against the job requirements on multiple dimensions: required skills match, preferred skills match, experience level fit, education requirements, and semantic relevance of their background to the role.

Step 4: Ranking

Candidates are ranked by their overall match score. You can view the ranked list, see detailed breakdowns of each score component, and identify strengths and gaps for every applicant.

Understanding Match Scores

Each candidate receives an overall match score from 0 to 100. Here's what the score components mean:

Skills Match

Compares the candidate's skills against the required and preferred skills listed in the job posting. Both exact matches and related skills are considered.

Experience Fit

Evaluates whether the candidate's years and type of experience align with the job's requirements. Relevant industry experience is weighted higher.

Education Match

Checks if the candidate meets the education requirements — degree level, field of study, and relevant certifications or courses.

Semantic Relevance

Uses natural language processing to understand the deeper meaning of the resume content and how well it aligns with the job description beyond just keyword matching.

  1. Go to Dashboard → Upload Resumes
  2. Optionally select a job to link the resumes to — uploaded candidates will be automatically matched against this job
  3. Click the upload area or drag files directly — you can select multiple files at once
  4. Supported formats: PDF (.pdf), Microsoft Word (.docx, .doc), Plain Text (.txt), Rich Text (.rtf)
  5. Maximum file size: 10MB per file
  6. Click 'Upload & Process' — the AI will parse each resume, create candidate profiles, and run matching in the background

Admin

Full access to all features. Can manage team members, organization settings, billing, and all jobs and candidates.

Viewer

Read-only access to jobs and candidates. Useful for stakeholders who need visibility without edit permissions.

What resume formats are supported?

TalentPulse supports PDF (.pdf), Microsoft Word (.docx, .doc), Plain Text (.txt), and Rich Text (.rtf) formats. Maximum file size is 10MB per file.

How accurate is the AI matching?

Our AI achieves a 95% accuracy rate on skills extraction and candidate ranking. The system continuously improves through feedback and learning from your hiring decisions.

Can I customize the scoring criteria?

Yes. When creating a job, you can specify required skills, preferred skills, minimum experience, and education requirements. The AI weights these criteria when scoring candidates.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each organization's data is completely isolated. We comply with GDPR and applicable data protection regulations.

Can candidates apply directly through the platform?

Yes. Your job listings are published on a public job portal. Candidates can browse positions, view details, and submit applications with their resumes directly.

How do I invite team members?

Go to Dashboard → Team → Invite Team Member. Enter their email and select a role (Recruiter, Hiring Manager, or Viewer). They will receive an invitation email to join your organization.
