How to Use QuizCraft

Getting Started
  1. Create an Account — Click Sign Up in the top right corner and fill in your details.
  2. Log In — Use your username and password to access your dashboard.
  3. Explore — Browse existing quizzes or create your own from the dashboard.
Creating a Quiz
  1. Click 'Create Quiz' — Navigate to the Create Quiz page from the navbar or your dashboard.
  2. Set Quiz Details — Enter a title, description, category, and configure settings like time limit and passing score.
  3. Add Questions — After saving the quiz, add questions of different types:
    • Multiple Choice — One correct answer from several options
    • True/False — A simple true or false question
    • Short Answer — A short text answer (auto-graded)
    • Essay — A longer text response (manually graded)
    • Multiple Select — Multiple correct answers from several options
    • Fill in the Blank — Complete a sentence with the missing word
  4. Publish — Set your quiz to active and share it with others.
Taking a Quiz
  1. Find a Quiz — Browse available quizzes or use the search to find a specific topic.
  2. Start the Quiz — Click 'Take Quiz' to begin. If the quiz has a timer, your countdown starts now.
  3. Answer Questions — Work through each question at your own pace. Your progress is tracked.
  4. Submit — Click submit when you're done. Your answers will be graded automatically for objective questions.
  5. View Results — See your score, review correct/incorrect answers, and track your progress over time.
Managing Your Quizzes
  • Dashboard — View your statistics, recent quizzes, and performance overview at a glance.
  • My Quizzes — See all quizzes you've created. Edit, delete, or view responses.
  • My Attempts — Review all quizzes you've taken, your scores, and pass/fail status.
  • Edit Quiz — Update quiz details, add or remove questions, change settings at any time.

Tips
  • Use the dark mode toggle in the navbar for comfortable reading in low light.
  • Switch languages using the globe icon in the navbar. Available: EN, NL, ES, DE, FR.
  • Set a passing score for your quiz to give participants clear pass/fail feedback.
  • Use time limits to create timed assessments — the countdown shows in the top corner.
  • Mix question types to keep your quiz engaging and test different knowledge levels.
